Linhsey has been talking about adoption, Vietnam, and babies in tummies daily now.
She's trying to make sense of it all.
She brings it up when it is least expected.
This morning I tried reading her bits and pieces of the book When You Were Born in Vietnam. She kept thinking the book was only about her. She kept looking for herself in the pictures and even me and Mike. She was happy to listen to it though. She was interested.
This is something we will definitely be getting deeper into over the upcoming summer months.

It's so cute how at that age, they're so self-centered in an innocent kind of way.
Man she is so sweet! Please keep us updated on her questions and how you handle it.. all that stuff makes me nervous! I so badly want to handle it all right!
Such a precious little girl Linhsey is..we too have had many a talk about the girls beginnings and like you said many questions come at odd times and catch me off guard but we always seem to have a good chat..Kira and I have cried together praying her first parents are okay and well and we will go back one day to visit both the girls birth countries.
Yes, so many questions. Our AA is still trying to understand where babies come from and why she may have a China family. So much to explain; I hope love shows her the way!

She is such a sweetie! She (& you!) dont have to have it all figured out to talk about it - both of your willingness is a great place to start! I cant wait to hear/see what Miss Linhsey thinks and feels as she gets closer to being a Kindergartner!
