Running actions-
I often have trouble finding an action that works well with Linhsey. I think it's her skin tone. I have all of the Florabella collection and Eye Candy actions, yet I hardly ever get to use them since I am always taking pics of L. There are only 2 or 3 that seem to work with her.
I snuck this quick shot of my niece over the weekend while her daddy was putting her shoes on. She had been jumping on the trampoline.

Here it is with Florabella's Swoon at 53%.
And here is it again with Florabella's B&W Film. I have been so anxious to use this one and it does NOT work on Linhsey at all.
So what do you think? What actions do you use and what works best with your children?

Beautiful! That black-and-white one is just stunning. For skin tone, I sometimes use AMP's Berries and Cream, when I feel that it might work with the photo (not always). Then there's AMP's Overlays-Hazes-Overlays Set 1. I usually use these to tweak. :)
I use mostly Florabella. I mix and match changing their opacity and other tiny details. I love the Champagne Haze that's found within Florabella's B&W collection. I used to use LR presets. Now I rarely use them and just adjust my photos within that program before editing in Photoshop. Whatever you're using your photos always look amazing. Good luck!
That swoon is beautiful!! Hmm. I use iPhoto. Lol.
I know what you mean about skin tones. I tend to get color casts from some of the actions especially on Grace's skin. A favorite that I use is Florabella's Luxe - Cashmere. A black and white I love is blush...also like Film Grain.

I adore Florabella's Luxe II collection! They are some of my FAVORITES! I usually use my OWN actions but that set of hers is to die for! You have a beautiful little girl, too, by the way!
I'm not an action fan. Presets only. But yours is just gorgeous!

I love Florabella actions, too. But you are right. Only certain ones work with my daughter's dark skin tone. I use Spring hazes the most...
